Welcome to Diplomacy by Networking!

Launched at the instigation of Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher in 1992, the Federal Foreign Office’s Training for International Diplomats has been contributing to the goals of German foreign policy and to its global connectivity for more than 30 years through its programmes and dialogue formats.

We provide space for joint learning, open exchange and the sharing of different perspectives among international diplomats as well as with other leaders. Furthermore, we are investing in the establishment of viable relations and global networks and are thus helping to build trust and promote understanding.
