The Women, Peace and Security Programme (WPS) brings together diplomats from countries which are focusing intensively on the Women, Peace and Security agenda and on gender equality.
In the two-week course, participants engage in intensive dialogue, share experiences and work closely with colleagues from the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as experts from the spheres of politics, science, media and civil society. They reflect on the implementation of the WPS agenda, elaborate practicable strategies and obtain insights into the development of foreign policy guidelines and strategies within the German Government.
